“Practice Swords 2”
Continuing Game 135

The Crusade drags on. While victories have become less sparse, casualties remain high, and recruitment efforts continue apace. Bands of adventurers — holy warriors, glory seekers, and mercenaries alike — continue to be responsible fo a huge share of the successes.

Seeing these victories, and encouraged by the results of the previous Lorrenberg war-games, King Harold VI of Allondell has once again commissioned the Nennite Order of the Divine Codex of Justice to hold a series of war-games and tournaments, and to invite all who would attend.

Many have answered the call. Whether to hoping to recruit, be recruited, teach, learn, prove their worth, hone their skills, or simply win some of the prizes offered, they have come to the town of Lorrenberg in the Steinlands, safely behind the Crusader lines.

When?

April 5, 2014. Check-in will be from 12:30pm to 1:30pm; new players should arrive at 12:30pm to make new characters and attend orientation. The game is expected to end about 7:30 pm.

Where?

At Wadsworth Falls State Park, on Main St. in Middletown, CT. Check-in will be at the picnic area visible from the parking lot.

In the event of rain, we will will announce at least 24 hours in advance that the game is being moved to in Exley Science Center on Church St. In that event, check-in will be in Woodhead Lounge inside Exley Science Center.

How much?

The game will cost $10, but is free for first-time players or for anyone who brings along a first-time player.

Game style?

Heavily combat-focused. Martial characters are especially recommended, but there will be plenty of opportunities for casters as well.
